Job Description:
Assembling crates, skids, or platforms for shipping equipment and partsCutting materials to the correct dimensionsBeing proficient with hand and power toolsTaking direction from a crating manager and displaying professional behaviorPlanning and building bracing and other support for safe transportationPacking crates with metal parts or insulationAttaching address and shipping labels to cratesLoad and unload products onto and off of trailers, rail cars, and cargo shipsTrack inventory, update records, and report shortagesFollow safety regulations and procedures, and ensure equipment is safe to useComplete forms, handle documentation, and maintain production recordsReport product damage and shortagesForklift Certified to Operate sit down forklift

Locating and verifying materials and suppliesMaintaining inventoryStoring products safely and efficientlyDocumenting material and supply dispositionPreparing finished stock for shipmentMaintaining material handling equipmentComplying with OSHA standardsMeeting production standardsFollowing work instructions
