Compensation: $95,000-$100,000/year

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Creative Lead I is a first level leadership role and serves as part of the design leadership team. This role will mentor a team of designers and interns on the completion of various projects and initiatives. The Creative Lead I will oversee day-to-day tasks, duties and responsibilities, workloads, and guide low-level personnel matters. The Creative Lead I will collaborate with Porter Leadership and take ownership of specific initiatives and process improvements. They will be involved in design projects and related tasks from inception to final installation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Owns first-level leadership responsibilities such as, manage design team workloads, workflow, and utilization
- Assigns projects, tasks and initiatives ensuring timely completion
- Manage standards, processes, and quality assurance
- Manage multiple key accounts and engagements
- Serve as a mentor to designers, encouraging growth and providing feedback and assessment
- Serves as a champion for challenging ideas or positions
- Responsible for individual tasks and duties as well as overall project results and outcomes

- Excellent customer service skills; strong organizational and time management skills; attention to detail; self-motivation; resourcefulness; ability to function in team environment; positive and professional attitude; product knowledge.
- Critical contributor to team effort by working closely with CEM to serve diverse and sometimes difficult and demanding clients. This person will face unexpected problems and deadlines as well as numerous interruptions.
Education/Experience
- B.A in Interior or Architectural Design (relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education)
- 10+ years of related industry experience, prior management/mentorship experience preferred
