Summary/Objective:
The Credit Administrator position is responsible for various Credit and Administrative functions in the Credit Department.
Essential Functions:
- Perform various credit and administrative functions in the Credit Department
- New customer account set up
- (Pulling reports from the credit bureau, such as DNBi, Credit Safe and NACM along with collecting trade reference information. Review the credit reports and make a recommendation of the credit limit to present to the Senior Credit person).
- Update the new customer information in New Customer Account spreadsheet for management reviews.
- Update the Cash and Credit Card accounts Excel spreadsheet on daily basis.
- Charge/Check refund request for all Credit and Cash accounts.
- Customer Tax/Miscellaneous Adjustment.
- Pulling credit reports and gathering trade reference information for CMMS new customer accounts, to assist Tia and Team
- Respond to Miscellaneous Request for Credit References.
- Create Weekly New Customer and new clone account customer information for Management.
- Maintaining credit application file cabinet.
- Answer all credit department customer phone calls and response their questions or transfer to the right person to assist customer questions.
- Assist credit department needs and Director of Credit timely assignments.

Supervisory Responsibility:
The Credit Administrator position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.
Working conditions:
Work Environment
This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines etc.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. The employee must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
Education and Experience:
- 2-4 years of credit collection experience
- 2-4 years of administrative assistant experience
- High School diploma required
