CREDIT ANALYST I CRE - California, 3 days a week in office: Irvine, La Jolla, Los Angeles, or Roseville, CA., WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Credit Analyst provides Credit Officers in the Commercial Real Estate Credit Products Team with analytical support relating to origination and portfolio management of real estate credits
What you will do Assist in monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of operating statements, rent rolls, market reports, and other quantitative and qualitative assessments as part of on-going portfolio management of the bank’s CRE loan portfolio
Assist in preparing credit memorandums and approvals to process annual credit reviews, asset reviews, and risk rating reviews
Monitor and review borrower and property financial reports and work with credit officers and relationship managers to obtain necessary information to ensure that reporting requirements are met
As needed, may assist in preparation of credit analysis and write-ups of new and renewed commercial real estate loan requests and provide the necessary documentation and financial facts for Credit Officers/Relationship Managers to evaluate and determine appropriate credit structure and terms for potential borrowers and loan modifications
Prepare summary documenting factual analysis and supporting information for credit decision recommendations
As needed, provide on-going analytical support to the Commercial Real Estate Credit Products organization to ensure timely completion of required loan reporting, management, and closing deadlines
Must-Have* H.S
Diploma Minimum 1 year of credit analysis or equivalent financial analysis experience required
Minimum 1 year of experience in a banking or financial services environment required
Skills and Knowledge Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business or related field preferred and/or a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in credit and/or financial analysis
Working knowledge of credit, accounting, and financial statement analysis; familiarity with local and national commercial real estate market trends
Prior experience in banking or commercial real estate investments a plus
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills to present clear and precise recommendations based upon analysis for action on loans and loan treatments
Compensation Starting base salary: $25.93 - $41.43 per hour
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location
This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions
