Credit Analyst - Vantage Point Solutions

Vantage Point Solutions, headquartered in Mitchell, SD, is seeking a full-time credit analyst/consultant in our growing Banking Division to conduct independent credit reviews for financial institutions throughout the Midwest. We have an immediate opening for a Credit Review Consultant. Candidates will work remotely and must be willing to travel as needed.

Summary/Objective

As a Credit Review Consultant in our Banking Division, the candidate will work with Vantage Point clients using your knowledge, experience, and talent to provide value added consulting services. Responsibilities will vary with the needs of the organization but could include credit analysis assessment, policy and portfolio review, risk rating assessment and accuracy, routine administration and monitoring, merger/acquisition due diligence assistance. credit training and much more.

Candidates should be self-motivated, resourceful, professional and exhibit good judgement. In addition, this position will require travel if the client prefers an onsite engagement. May be asked to attend banking events to assist with business development.

Competencies

• · Strong credit analysis skills in both ag and commercial lending
• · Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including ability to present to Loan Committees, Audit Committees or in Board of Director Meetings
• · Proficiency in common Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong business development skills

Education & Experience

A bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance or related field is required. Minimum of five years commercial/ag banking and/or credit analysis work experience.

Supervisory Responsibility

No direct supervisory duties.
