CREDIT AND BILLING CLERK - Spherion

About the Job
Responsibilities:
Process and generate invoices, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
Review and apply credit policies to accounts, performing credit checks as needed.
Communicate with customers to address billing inquiries, adjustments, and discrepancies.
Reconcile account statements and prepare monthly billing summaries.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accounts receivable are managed effectively.
Monitor overdue accounts and contact clients to facilitate payment arrangements.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of billing, credit adjustments, and payment transactions.
Assist in generating reports for management on billing and credit activity.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Familiarity with industry-specific billing systems and software.
Experience in a customer service role with a financial focus.
Knowledge of accounting principles and credit analysis.
Ability to problem-solve and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience in billing, credit management, or a related finance role.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
