Key Responsibilities:
- Establish company-wide AR/AP and Cash Management organizations, implementing consistent processes.
- Build and optimize a centralized corporate credit department, overseeing a unified AR team.
- Oversee the maintenance of corporate credit policy and internal controls related to credit and collections.
- Measure departmental performance through key metrics such as cash collections and AR aging.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to adjust credit policy in line with business growth strategies.
- Manage, train, and develop the Credit team, focusing on process improvement and performance management.
- Maintain strong relationships with collection and credit reporting agencies.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of customer credit files and credit limits.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in a Credit Department, with a strong preference for supervisory and centralization experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but will consider non-degreed candidates with significant experience.
- Proven experience working with Sales teams and driving process improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
- ERP system experience and a quick learner for financial systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Process improvement mindset with the ability to implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
