We are seeking a Sr
CREO Designer for our client to support program initiatives and create innovative mechanical and electro-mechanical designs
The role involves developing complex components, assemblies, tools, and products while collaborating closely with engineering, manufacturing, vendors, quality, and customers
The designer will ensure the creation of layout-defect-free designs while also assisting engineers in defining design standards and configurations.
Developing innovative concepts that meet functional and operational requirements.
Preparing complex design layouts, schematics, and sketches, including test plans and specifications.
Ensuring CAD models are easily transitioned to modeling and simulation software.
Reviewing engineering documents for compliance with military and engineering standards, accuracy of dimensions, and layout clarity.
Coordinating closely with systems engineers to ensure designs meet contractual obligations.
Evaluating drawings and specifications for producibility and validating integration of equipment.
Preparing drawing packages to meet military or equivalent ASME standards.
Skills Required:
Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance analysis.
Expertise in CAD tools, including Creo 7, with extensive 3D modeling and file manipulation capabilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of military drawings and specifications, MILSPEC/STD's.
Experience with product design at component, subsystem, and system levels.
Knowledge of production methods and human factors.
Experience Required:
Minimum of 9 years of design/drafting experience using Creo.
Education Required:
An Associate Degree with emphasis in engineering drafting/design or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
A minimum of nine additional years of drafting and design experience, with at least five years of advanced design concepts and applications.
