Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all phases of criminal litigation, including arraignments, depositions, pre-trial motions, and court appearances.
Approach trial proceedings with confidence, strategic insight, and persuasive advocacy.
Ensure compliance with Phoenix and federal criminal procedures, e-filing processes, and court deadlines.
Develop and implement innovative defense strategies tailored to each client's needs.
Engage directly with clients, providing strategic legal advice on relevant matters.
Conduct seminars for clients as needed to enhance their understanding of the legal process.
Analyze and review evidence, including police reports and witness statements pertinent to cases.
Maintain a meticulous and organized approach while managing a high volume of cases.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in criminal defense litigation.
Strong understanding of Phoenix and federal criminal laws and procedures.
Must be admitted to the Phoenix Bar (Required).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Westlaw, and/or Lexis.
