We are seeking a dynamic and experienced UPS Field Service Engineer to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated and results-driven professional to contribute to our rapidly growing organization. As a UPS Field Service Engineer, you will work at the forefront of power technology, utilizing your skills and experience in UPS, power distribution units, and power systems maintenance. You will play a pivotal role in providing technical support to our sales team and customers, ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide on-site technical support for uninterruptable power supply (UPS) systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
2. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on UPS systems and power distribution units to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
3. Respond promptly to service calls and resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.
4. Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process.
5. Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
6. Develop, write, and deliver value-based demonstrations and proposals to key decision-makers.
7. Provide feedback to the product development team on potential product improvements or new product opportunities based on customer feedback or market trends.
8. Train customers and end-users on the proper use and maintenance of our products.
9. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitor products.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the sales industry.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience in UPS systems, power distribution units, and power systems maintenance.
4. Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
6. Outstanding customer service skills and a commitment to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
8. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
9. Willingness to travel as required to meet customer needs and business objectives.
10. A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
