SUMMARY:
The Critical Supply Analyst ispart of the Corporate Logistics Team located in Troy, MI. Responsibility of the team includes, but not limited to, the establishment of the Logistics vision, mission, strategies, processes, procedures, training/development and compliance thereof with oversight of our 10 manufacturing plants in North America. Primary propose of this position is to identify and improve the outcomes of Logistics and Operational Processes of the Plant Logistics functions with regards to Critical Supply Chain Management, reduce expedite cost and increase customer satisfaction.

Primary propose of this position is to identify and improve the outcomes of Logistics and Operational Processes of the Plant Logistics functions with regards to Critical Supply Chain Management, reduce expedite cost and increase customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with high risk suppliers, assisting them in developing a short term build and delivery plan that supports MAHLE production plants, while focusing on a long-term recovery plan.
- The function and priority of the position is as follows: Prevent Customer interruption, Prevent Plant Interruption, Eliminate Supplier Backlog, Reduce Expedites, Lower overall Freight Spend, Generate Savings to budget.
- Aim to prevent customer interruptions, prevent plan interruption, eliminate supplier backlog, reduce expedites, lower overall freight spend, generate savings to budget
- Work closely with Plant Logistics, Production Scheduling, Purchasing and Supplier Quality for both production/delivery coordination and to eliminate barriers
- Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, and support training / workshops to drive cultural change
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics
- Carry out advanced data collection and analysis to determine project feasibility
- Identify and execute Project Commitment Projects
- Bachelors Degree in or related to Supply Chain / Supply Chain Management is Required
- 5 or more years of experience in Material Planning within the Automotive Industry is Required
- Strong project management, leadership and interpersonal communication skills is Required
- Demonstrated Supplier Management experience is Required
- Proficient experience with SAP is Required
- Mannufacturing experience working in a Production / Plant environment is Preferred
