About the Job
Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Graduate Admission and Enrollment. This position is responsible for creating a seamless transition for both traditional and non-traditional graduate students during the recruitment cycle through to enrollment, advising, and on to program completion. This position will also lead CUC's internal graduate recruitment efforts and create strategies to support these efforts, as well as serve on the department's leadership team.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Coordinate recruitment for special groups with CUC faculty.
- Review all application documents and make final admission decisions.
- Represent CUC at recruitment fairs and meetings.
- International student recruitment (non-external partnerships).
- Develop communication plans for prospects to include process for application and acceptance.
- Provide comprehensive advising services to graduate students in traditional, non-cohort programs (course selection, registration, financial aid, payment plan options).
- Monitor traditional students' academic progress towards completion.
- Create quarterly graduate advising newsletter and program information sheets.
- Oversee changes and updates to CUC graduate web content.
- Create and sustain a social media presence for the department, oversee updates to the website.
Skill Sets:
Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, strong commitment to student service and customer service.
Minimum Experience Required:
Two years advising experience or student personnel experience with knowledge of curriculum structure. Minimum two years admission recruitment experience within a small private institution. Candidate must exhibit a commitment to Lutheran Christian education.

Compensation and Benefits:
Starting range is dependent upon individual qualifications and experience. Concordia health, disability and retirement plan enrollment is available to full-time employees and their eligible dependents. Tuition benefits are also available for employees and their qualified dependents.
