Job Summary
The Manager of Cyber Risk Management Data Analytics will oversee the Cyber Risk Management Data Analytics team. This team consists of data analysts responsible for supporting the Cyber Risk Management, Physical Security, Identity Engagement, Business Risk Solutions, and Fields Ops teams within Information Protection & Security. The data analytics team is responsible for consulting on, designing, building, and deploying advanced analytic models, dashboards, and reports.
This role will require a strong understanding of data analytics methodologies, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data strategies, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality data insights. This position also requires a candidate who can, with minimal guidance, analyze business requirements and processes, facilitate and lead meetings with key stakeholders within the organization, and provide industry expertise and knowledge.
Major Responsibilities
Quality
- Help ensure metrics are identified within each work area that help demonstrate risk reduction
- Ensure the team is involving all relevant stakeholders in major decisions; recognizing multiple agendas and making/communicating final decision in ways that foster maximum ownership and minimum resistance
- Pioneer and deploy new applications in PowerBI to meet the needs of leadership across various departments
- Partner with colleagues and customers to achieve meaningful discussions regarding data outputs and feedback on usage activities
- Provide analytics support to other departments within IPS by performing data analysis and modeling that minimizes risk exposures
- Provide ad hoc analytics on demand as needed
- Evolve the workflow of data analytics team through automation and process improvement (e.g., deployments using a “sprint” methodology)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs
- Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
- Oversee the execution of data analysis projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results
- Leverage advanced data analytics techniques, such as machine learning and statistical modeling, to uncover valuable insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders
- Ensure the effective visualization of data to facilitate understanding and decision-making
People
- Delegate responsibility and accountability for major work (including setting due dates and identifying key milestones) based on staff competency and interest
- Establish mutual objectives, performance expectations, and targets for team members
- Mentor team members, including developing and monitoring their personal development plans, and provide feedback via the annual performance review process
