Position Overview: As an Email Marketing Coordinator, you will work closely with all members of the Email Marketing team, coordinating with the larger Digital Marketing and Omni-Channel teams, as well as the corporate and field marketing teams and vendors, as required, in order to provide excellent customer service to the B2C and B2B marketing organizations. This Coordinator will possess general Digital Marketing experience – with skills in building email templates, hands-on HTML coding, basic graphics editing and writing for the email. The position also requires an understanding of relational databases, queries, and data integrations basics.
A Day in the Life of the Email Marketing Coordinator:
Front-End: Email Marketing Programs
- Work with multiple internal stakeholders and teams to create, set-up, test and launch small- and medium-sized email marketing campaigns, from planning to set-up in Eloqua, campaign deployment, and post-deployment reporting.
- Act as primary point of contact for email marketing campaigns with internal stakeholders for the campaigns in the Role’s queue
- For each campaign, understand goals, document requirements, help with or work on asset development, using an extensive Email Template component Library (graphics and HTML code snippets), deploy campaigns, and provide post-deployment performance metrics
- Be aware of larger Omni-channel initiatives and take holistic approach to campaign management, ensuring alignment with Integrated Digital Marketing campaigns and cohesive marketing communications across Digital and Traditional Marketing channels
- Help manage and maintain daily Email Marketing Calendar
- Help manage and expand the Email Template Components Library for B2B and B2C brands, as required
- Working with web team, corporate marketing and vendors to support brand-wide social media campaigns for B2C and B2B engagement efforts
- Write & optimize email HTML to ensure good rendering across email clients, assist in writing & editing email copy. Ensure clear UX and design consistency within brand guidelines
- Participate in ad hoc campaign performance analysis
- Other duties as assigned
Back-End: Oracle Eloqua Management
- Work with and report directly to Sr. Manager, Email Marketing Operations on the maintenance of a Library of Triggered and Transactional email templates, support and maintain existing and new fully-automated Customer Lifecycle programs, and provide limited support in managing the company’s Oracle Eloqua instance.
- Have, at minimum, base understanding of relational databases (SQL) and query / audience segmentation structures and their underlying logic. Learn the Eloqua database, including relational tables, one-to-one and one-to-many connections between these tables, existing data fields and values, as well as existing inbound and outbound data integrations
- Help maintain the existing and support the Sr. Manager, Email Marketing Operations, in creation and back-end set-up of new data integrations within the email marketing platform Oracle Eloqua
- Have base understanding of Email Deliverability and main factors influencing it; work with an external vendor managing Email Deliverability, as required
- Help manage and maintain a Library of Triggered and Transactional email templates sent by Astound, as well as the product-focused customer journey email templates sent by partners on behalf of Astound
- Help manage and maintain a Library of email template disclaimers and work with the corporate marketing team of timely updates the Library
- Provide limited support in the overall management of the company’s Oracle Eloqua instance, including working on providing database hygiene and subscription management centers maintenance and updates, as required
What You Bring to the Table:
- 2 - 4 years of Digital Marketing experience, including at least 1 year of hands-on Email Marketing production and execution
- Must have strong hands-on HTML coding skills (Adobe Dreamweaver) and a full command of Email coding best practices
- Basic image editing skills are required (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, etc.)
- Knowledge of and experience with IA/UX & web design principles
- Must possess hands-on HTML coding and understanding of how coding for emails differs from coding for web
- Base understanding of relational SQL databases and queries, one-to-one and one-to-many table connections
- Knowledge of CAN SPAM, Privacy Policy for email marketing and list management
- Knowledge of Email Deliverability and factors influencing it
- Practical knowledge of email marketing Best Practices for template design and coding. Familiarity with responsive design, personalization, dynamic content and testing
- Basic image editing skills (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Canva)
- Familiarity with Google Analytics. Knowledge of GA4 is desired
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Attention to detail is a must
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree with Major in Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, Integrated Marketing, or Information Technologies related field

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $72,000, plus opportunities for bonus and benefits, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
