One of the nation's largest diagnostic imaging centers, has an immediate need for CT Tech
Type: Direct Hire/ Perm
Schedule: Monday- Friday 3pm–12am Saturday Rotation 2x a month 8am-12pm
Location: Bayonne, NJ
Description
* Conducting CT and X-Ray Imaging for our facility that is Connected to the ED
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
* Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
* Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
* Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
* Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
* Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
* 64 Slice GE CT Scanner to be used, will need to test strokes and head injuries, know how to do injections and IV with Contrast.
* Will need to be able to work alone and take X ray
* EMR – Epic and McKesson
Requirements
* ARRT(R) (CT) certification
* State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
* CPR certification
* At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred

Salary: $34-$45 /HR - $7,500 Signing bonus
