JOB SUMMARY
The CT Tech - TRAVEL performs the full scope of CT Tech procedures, including CT Scan, MRI, body scanner , X-Rays, create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment. 472 bed acute care medical/surgical facility and healthcare complex specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology services, orthopedics and bariatrics as well as Women's Services. Teaching Facility and ranks among the best in the nation. THIS IS A 26 WEEK ASSIGNMENT BUT WILL CONSIDER 13 WEEKS. Will be expected to be on call 4-6 shifts a month (on off days). 3x12 hour shifts Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 11:00 am - 11:30 pm.

EXPERIENCE
- At least ONE year travel CT technologist experience .
- ALL GE Equipment, MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy. Experience with GE Equipment REQUIRED!
- EMR - Meditech - Strongly Preferred.
- Communication skills
- Medical and anatomical skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to multi-task, work with variety of physicians, radiologists and patients.
CREDENTIALS:
- ARRT (CT)
- BLS & Florida State DOH License
- CPR as required by client facility; health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.

- Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complies with ATC policies/procedures.
- Complies with client facility policies/procedures.
- Documents accurately and completely services provided.
- Maintains confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Communicates information effectively to appropriate personnel.
- Complies with accepted ethical and professional standards of conduct.
- Administers or assists with administration of contrast media, as required, and consistent with applicable legal restrictions.
- Performs radiological testing as assigned and under applicable scope of practice regulations.
- Initiates emergency procedures according to facility policies and procedures.
- Provides patient services in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved.
