Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our radiology team. The ideal candidate will perform advanced CT procedures and produce high-quality scans for diagnostic interpretation, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of CT procedures, including assisting radiologists with biopsies, cardiac CT, and CT angiograms.
• Operate CT equipment, selecting appropriate technical factors for optimal imaging.
• Ensure accurate identification on images, maintaining 100% compliance with patient demographics.
• Document all related data meticulously and maintain the integrity of patient records.
• Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, and the general public.
• Identify, process, transfer, and archive patient exams and related information securely.
• Maintain and secure radiology information systems, resolving complex issues as they arise.
• Orient and train fellow staff technologists, developing and delivering in-service presentations.
• Be available for on-call status, including weekends and holidays, and be flexible with assigned shifts.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in computed tomography is required, with essential pediatric experience.
• Proficiency in EPIC and Siemens imaging systems is mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of computed tomography imaging and picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
• Familiarity with radiology information systems and HIPAA regulations.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
