CT Technologist - Main CT

Location: Napa, CA

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading Level III Trauma Center in Napa, CA to recruit a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist - Main CT. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare team and contribute to patient care in a state-of-the-art medical facility.

Responsibilities:

• Perform computed tomography (CT) scans on patients of all ages and conditions.
• Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Position patients correctly for optimal image quality.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment, ensuring proper settings and protocols.
• Process and evaluate CT images for diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Contribute to the efficiency and productivity of the CT department.

Required Qualifications:

• Education meeting certification, license, or registration requirements.
• California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography certification within 1 year of hire.
• Experience in a related field as a CT tech or Imaging Tech.
