Job Summary and Qualifications

· Performs superior/quality CT scans under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages · Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring · Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology Technology

·Registered with the State of Texas ·

• Registered with ARRT (Army graduates must take their ARRT registry with in twelve months of their hire date or earlier if mandated by the State of Texas), and Texas (MRT)
• ·CT Certification through ARRT preferred ·
• Current AHA or ARC BLS provider. ·
• If current employee participating in a cross-training program, all training will be completed under direct supervision of a registered technologist. Certification in alternate modality is required within 6 months of completion of training.

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

· All seasonal employees are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.

· All positions require 1 year of experience.

· Three (3) weekend shifts are required each 4-week schedule period.

· During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).

· Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.

· Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital.

· Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy.

· Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND, D2/ECD, and D3/EVD)

· Current FT/PT/PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2023-2024

· Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program.

· Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department.
