Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a CT Technologist Trainee - Outpatient Radiology - Great Neck - Per Diem.
In this role, the successful candidate Observes and works directly with a CT technologist to assist in performing medically prescribed CT procedures of designated anatomical areas, under the general direction of the radiologist and supervisor.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates knowledge of the HIS and RIS systems as they relate to radiology
- Under direct supervision of a CT technologist, demonstrates skill in equipment set-up, utilization and propermaintenance procedure
- Under direct supervision of a CT technologist, assists in patent procedures in accordance with departmentalprotocols and standards
- Effectively assesses patient’s information and status, and works directly with a CT technologist to followappropriate procedures accordingly
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED. Currently enrolled and participating in a certificate program from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology or a recent graduate of a radiology program from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology (up to one year post graduation).
Preferred Licenses: Radiologic TechLic IV-Cert-NYS

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $16.00 - $16.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
