Job Description:

EliteCare Medical Staffing is seeking for a dedicated and skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our Radiology team in Anacortes, WA. This position is crucial for delivering high-quality imaging services, facilitating accurate diagnoses, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform computed tomography (CT) and X-ray examinations for trauma, stroke, outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room patients.

Operate a Siemens scanner effectively while ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Administer intravenous (IV) injections as required for imaging studies.

Maintain a high volume of scans/studies, averaging between 60-80 per day.

Collaborate with the radiology supervisor and lead technologist during the day shift to ensure optimal department functioning.

Provide support to other areas as needed during the graveyard shift, covering both X-ray and CT services.

Utilize Meditech for Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and assist with the transition to Phillips PACS systems.

Ensure compliance with all certification requirements, including BLS, ARRT, and state licensure.

Qualifications:

Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and state license.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred experience in trauma and stroke patient care.

Familiarity with Siemens equipment and imaging procedures.

Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Department Overview:

Our radiology department is equipped with one CT scanner and provides critical imaging services for various patient needs. The lead technologist oversees daily operations, ensuring that high standards are met. Radiologists are available on-call from 8 AM to 5 PM for consultations.
