DIRECT HIRE - 2 POSITIONS
CTP Maintenance Technician - 3rd shift / SKILLED TECHNICIAN - LEVEL III
SHIFT: 3RD
HOURS: 11PM-730AM
SHIFT PREMIUM 8%
OVERTIME 1.5%
PLEASE NOTE: It is not uncommon for us to work weekend overtime to ensure support coverage for production, we try to mitigate this with a rotating weekend schedule. However, the team do regularly work 12 days on 2 days off, as we build the team we are looking to create a 3 week rotation.
**Manager is willing to accept non local candidates but due to a freeze on relocation expenses, candidates will be responsible for relocation expenses.
Summary: Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of an establishment in repair. Typically has a high school diploma or GED. The technical skills include the knowledge of machines and tools. Education/Experience o High school diploma or GED required o 5-7 years experience required Responsibility level o Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor Skills o Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability (Required) o Team player and detail oriented (Required) o Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance (Typically required) o Basic knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods (Typically required) o Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology (Typically required) Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: o Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment o Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate o Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists o Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices o Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment o Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions o Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work o Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery o Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tool
