Overview:
Join the INN crew of culinary professionals as a Culinary Extern! Position pays $15.92 per hour.
The Inn at Perry Cabin is seeking passionate, enthusiastic, and creative Culinary Externs who has a profound interest in the culinary arts, a strong desire to build industry knowledge, and a drive to meet the highest standards in our profession. The culinary team at the Inn at Perry Cabin are on a quest to return Chesapeake Bay cooking to its fundamental elements. Our exceptional group of talented, creative, and thoughtful crew members each bring a unique perspective and consistent determination to our kitchen.
Essential job function:
The Culinary Externs play a valuable role in the restaurant, banquets, garden manger, and pastry kitchens. Students are provided the opportunity for hands-on training in a sophisticated environment. The culinary externships are for 3 months and/or 550 hours and consist of consecutive full-time work. Our externs are provided housing options and transportation to and from work and local shopping.

This Culinary Externship program is for culinary students seeking an understanding of the hospitality industry. This externship includes rotations throughout the various culinary stations. Students must commit to a rotation of stations and roles in agreement with the required school training program.
Compensation Range:The compensation for this position is $15.92/Hr. - $15.92/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
