**Future Opportunity**
CSEngineering is looking to add a Cultural Resource Support to our growing team!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with preparing and providing support documents for the Cultural Resource Manager to consult with the Wyoming State Preservation Office (SHPO) and National Park Service (NPS) and work with Air Force engineering project managers on summarizing project requirements and specifications. Documents may include Historic Structure Reports or Condition Assessments, preparing historical feature descriptions and facility use summaries that meets HABS/HAER standards, preservation recommendations, project related consultation letters, and photo documentation.
- Knowledge of the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Treatment of Historic Properties as well as experience in applying the standards to work on historic structures.
- Knowledge of historical construction techniques, building materials, and federal, state, and local laws regarding historic property preservation and/or historic property evaluation for buildings dated from the mid-1800's through the Cold War era.
- Ability to maintain accurate, organized, and complete filing of documents and records in accordance with federal and installation guidelines.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relationships.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master's degree in American Architectural History, Historic Preservation, or closely related field that included detailed examinations of historic structures, historic structures research reports, historic construction techniques and materials, or preparation or review of specifications for preservation projects. Experience may not be substituted for education requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of experience identifying, evaluating, and/or developing treatment activities primarily for historic properties from the early-1800's to mid-1900's. Experience with registering historic facilities preferred but not required.
