This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home. You'll bring your solid understanding of medical billing and revenue cycle processes to help patients, guarantors, and other stakeholders.
Position Summary:
Join our dynamic, fully remote SBO Customer Service Team as a Level 3 Associate! Represent MaineHealth with a friendly, professional attitude while managing:
- 2,800+ daily calls from patients, guarantors, insurance companies, attorney offices, and healthcare providers.
- 500+ daily MyChart messages, with numbers increasing.
- Accurate payment processing and billing issue resolution.
- Patient correspondence and voicemails.
Position Highlights:
- Base hourly rate: $19.92-$21.03, contingent upon compensation analysis
- Full Time, fully remote

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) – “What you will need”:
- Education: High School graduate or GED/HiSET preferred.
- License/Certifications: Must achieve proficiency in EPIC Single Billing Office within one (1) year of hire date
- Experience: 2+ years in a related healthcare field. 2+ years previous healthcare call center experience. Able to work in a high volume, fast paced work environment
