Custodial Manager - Roxbury - Pritchard Industries

Pritchard Industries is seeking a Custodial Manager for Roxbury School District, who is responsible for directing a wide variety of janitorial services, in a school district. This position will be responsible for the operation of the custodial staff. The ideal candidate should have a great personality to build relationships, multi-unit janitorial management experience and a great personality to help build relationships and foster current relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for organizing, scheduling, training, assigning, and performing daily work routines.
• Must be able to plan and perform major cleaning operations, supervising and coordinating work projects, and coordinate with the customer on supervisory responsibilities to ensure quantity and quality exceeds expectations.
• Inspect all assigned areas frequently to ensure that individual and building inspections meet service level quality standards, utilizing computer-aided inspection systems and other department provided tools. Supervise other related work as required.
• Independently directs, assigns, supervises, and guides all assigned janitorial employees.
• Plans and prepares work schedules and assignments.
• Approves assigned employee payroll documents, payables, etc.
• Completes assigned supply orders and billings.
• Work with union employees.
• School custodial experience is a plus.

Minimum Requirements

• CEFM certification (or in process of acquiring) preferred.
• Minimum two (5) years directly related experience that demonstrates knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning process.
• Minimum of one (3) years experience in a managerial or leadership role.
• Basic skillset in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Client and contract management experience.
