Custodian II - City of O'Fallon

The City of O'Fallon, MO is looking to hire a dependable and customer service-oriented Custodian. Are you looking to have your evenings and weekends off? Typical hours for this position will be M-F 6:00am-2:30pm. This is a position where you'll be able to take pride in ensuring our facilities remain top notch in cleanliness. Our Custodians earn competitive pay with an expected starting range of $18.45 hourly.This position will be primarily at the Justice Center, an extensive background check will be conducted on the chosen candidate.

As a Custodian, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Cleans bathrooms and restocks supplies.
• Cleans offices, including floors, blinds, and furniture.
• Empties trash and recyclable materials.
• Makes minor maintenance repairs.
• Reports maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.
• Unloads and inventories cleaning supplies.
• Launders towels and mop heads.
• Strips and waxes floors.
• Removes snow from sidewalks.
• Assists with setting up for meetings.
• Performs related duties.

Requirements include:

• The ability to perform tasks while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, bending or crouching
• Possession of or the ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of Missouri
