The Custodian is responsible for keeping the shops organized and clean. The main areas of focus are community spots in the shops as well as exterior gardens and parking lots. In addition the Custodian may act as a runner/driver when needed transporting parts and supplies between locations
Custodian Job Duties:
Cleaning responsibilities revolve around organizing and maintaining proper inventory to keep the building and premises clean and tidy for the primary enjoyment of our customers and coworkers.
Maintains all Turbo Tim’s building appearances by keeping areas tidy and clean. Such as a break area, waiting room, front desk, bathrooms, laundry area, office, all garbage and recycling throughout, front sidewalk, and parking lot. The primary focus being on the customer experience.
Provides a clean shop floor throughout the day utilizing the floor scrubber as needed. As needed mopping offices and bathroom floors.
Maintains stocked bathroom, break area, and waiting area with supplies.
Order and deliver shop supplies needed by store
Supports and assists in landscaping and summer garden projects
Keeps the customer waiting area cat toys and bedding clean and tidy, throwing away old worn out items and purchasing new items as needed.
Keep the waiting areas stocked with t-shirts, bumper stickers, merchandise, la croix, coffee, candy, hot wheels and other supplies to match and exceed the experience of our competitors.
Monitors weather related needs - Water rain gardens when warm and shovel and assist with ice in the front and side sidewalk and steps. Assist in snow removal from parking lot in the winter and moving cars during snow emergencies.
Maintains the adopt-a-drain to keep it clean and water moving smoothly
Notify Manager, Supervisor, or Owner if any supplies need to be ordered or delays are expected. Assist in expediting the ordering of supplies.
Attend the weekly building team meetings, participating in the level 10 meeting setting weekly and quarterly goals
Assist the Building team with any on occasion with special projects
Requirements/Qualifications:
Possess a valid driver’s license issued in Minnesota.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Able to Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Able to operate all company equipment needed to perform required tasks.
Able to lift 60 pounds.
