Custodian - Part Time - Columbine Commons Health & Rehab - Columbine Health Systems

Columbine Commons Assisted Living/Health and Rehab facility located at 1475 Main Street Windsor, Colorado provides care the community has come to expect from our new, state-of-the-art building.

We are accepting applications for a Custodian able to work:

• Part-Time
• Every Saturday and some weekdays
• 12:00pm - 8:30pm

Compensation

• Starting wage between $15.00/hour - $16.50/hour (depending on experience)

Custodian

Performs custodial work in facility common space, and other building interiors.

Typical tasks performed include a combination of the following:

• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
• Sometimes using ladders, dust and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dust and polishes light fixtures.
• Washes and replaces blinds. Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas.
• May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• May also sweep walks, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age with an education minimum of 8th grade and be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be interested in geriatrics, able to work independently or with a team, and attentive to detail. Must be able to tolerate lifting, pushing, and pulling in the 25-pound range frequently.
