About the Job
Global Banking client is seeking a Trade Support and Asset Movement Specialist to join their operations team. In this role, you will confirm and verify trades, ensure accurate booking and reconciliation, and facilitate the smooth settlement of trades. You'll work closely with the trading desk, clearing and custody firms, and Account Officers, handling everything from asset movements to responding to clearing firm notices. You will also oversee trade reporting and assist with alternative investment processing, contributing to streamlined operations and compliance with industry regulations.

- Confirm and verify trades with counterparties, ensuring accuracy in booking across front and back-office applications.
- Collaborate with the trading desk and clearing/custody firms to facilitate seamless trade settlements.
- Process various asset transfers, including wire transfers, ACATs, free movements, DWACs, and journal entries.
- Coordinate with fund administrators and clearing firms for mutual and alternative investment funds on the platform.
- Monitor and resolve trade reporting issues, including TRACE, MSRB, and CAT CAIS rejects.
- Interpret and respond to margin calls, corporate actions, tax notices, cost basis adjustments, and trade corrections.
- Serve as a point of contact for Account Officers and clearing firms, addressing questions related to account activity, asset servicing, and maintenance.
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, wealth management, and international settlements.
- Pershing clearing system is a plus
- Strong understanding of Client, SEC, and relevant regulatory requirements, along with industry best practices.
- Series 99 license required.
