Custom Single Barrel Operations Manager

Hours: 9am-5pm, 40 hours a week.

1) POSITION SUMMARY

PRUSA's Custom Single Barrel (CSB) program focuses on providing differentiated spirits offerings to retailers and consumers by offering individual barrel selections across our American Whiskeys and Agave brands.
As the CSB Operations Manager, you will oversee the operational facets of our CSB program, ensuring seamless execution from sampling to delivery. Your responsibilities will encompass project management, production planning, and cross-functional coordination to guarantee timely and efficient processing of CSB barrel selections. You will serve as the main point of contact for operational matters, leveraging your strong attention to detail and customer service orientation to uphold the highest standards of quality and service.
This position reports to the Director, Inventory Strategy with a dotted-line to the Custom Single Barrel Program Manager.
2) KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Barrel Management, Tracking, & Coordination
o Track and drive forward all operational elements of CSB programs (sampling, production, order status, SKU creation, etc.), accounting for all necessary information and statuses
o Drive barrels through process by making data available as needed to cross-functional partners
o Prompt cross-functional partners if/when barrel progress becomes 'stuck', aid in problem solving
o Support distillery in production planning and execution of CSB barrels
o Main point of contact with Operations; On-Site CSB Coordinators' needs related to Operations
• Continuous Improvement
o Assist and document definitions of process and process ownership
o Create and Track KPIs
o Partner/align with cross-functionals to optimize Single Barrel Portal and Single Barrel Process
Required Skills:
3) JOB REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES
We seek a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills and a successful track record of managing multiple simultaneous processes across many locations/stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the Operations Manager should be data-driven and analytically savvy to aid the overall program as needed in continuous improvement.
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience / Background:
o Minimum: 5+ years of work experience in relevant capacity within Operations management function
o Preferred: Previous experience in production planning and execution
o Preferred: 3-tier experience or interest in Bourbon
• Competencies:
o Strong Excel knowledge – Advanced formula and data transformation skills
o Strong attention to detail – meticulous and organized to ensure precision in execution
o Project Management – effective in planning/prioritizing operational tasks to coordinate partners
o Clear communicator – ability to communicate updates and requirements clearly to stakeholders
o Analytical – Proficient in analyzing operational data to optimize process and decision making
o Customer service orientation – operate with empathy to ensure positive CSB experience for all
