About the Job
Georgia-Pacific is currently seeking a Customer Account Manager to support our Export Containerboard Division.
In this role, you will work directly with the customer account managers, 3rd party warehouses, Shanghai Sales Office, and our internal sales and operations groups to maintain an uninterrupted order flow to the customer. The CAM is responsible for the optimization of the order fulfillment processes by functioning as a liaison between customers, sales, customer service, operations, and logistics partners, thereby ensuring our customers' satisfaction. The CAM is a key member of the Container Board leadership team and interacts with cross-functional groups to enhance our customers' experience and achieve business goals. This position reports to the Export Manager.
Location: This is a hybrid position based in Atlanta, GA with travel (no more than 20% required)

Our mills and shipping ports are strategically located to serve customers worldwide.
What You Will Do
- Entering customer purchase orders into an order management system for movement to and from production mills to port terminals
- Scheduling production of customer orders across a wide mill network based on known lead times, production and transportation costs, and customer requested delivery dates
- Communicating with multiple parties (Sales, customers, mill shipping departments, production planning, freight forwarders, etc.) to ultimately plan for the successful fulfillment of export orders
- Scheduling ocean bookings, arranging inland transportation and following up to ensure shipments have reached their final destinations
- Reviewing, updating and preparing necessary export documentation for international shipments
- Working in tandem with representatives from our GP Shanghai trading office
- Managing inventories in domestic and foreign warehouses and finding suitable economic outlets for aging material
- Reporting any potential customer issues or overall supply chain issues to stakeholders and working to resolve the issues with a sense of urgency
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- At least 2 years of logistics experience
- Experience analyzing logistics and shipping data
- Order entry, ERP and/or billing experience
- Experience working with B2B or B2C customers
- Microsoft office experience (Word - Memo Generation, Excel - Basic Analysis, Outlook - Basic Correspondence)
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or Business
- Letter of credit experience
- Ocean freight shipping line experience
- Experience with export documentation requirements
- Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge (V Lookups, Pivot Tables, VBA) used for tracking and analysis
- Freight forwarding experience
- Foreign language skills (Mandarin or Spanish)
- Experience interacting with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse operators
