The Customer Care Representative (CCR) is the first and last impression of Sirius Vet. CCR’s are mainly responsible for clerical tasks, supporting the client and Sirius Vet Team. This role includes scheduling, record keeping, account maintenance, payment processing, and positive customer service.
This is a full time non exempt position, with a Monday-Friday schedule (NO WEEKENDS). The salary range starts $17 hourly. Sirius Vet offers Paid Time Off, Holidays, health (medical, dental, vision) and retirement benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments using the phone, email and appointment software (ezyVet)
- Collect and maintain medical records and client/patient forms
- Follow established process to prepare for appointments, completing intake sheets prior to appointment
- Prepare clients during appointments by greeting upon arrival, weighing patients, assisting to the exam room, explaining protocols, forms and estimates
- Provide timely patient updates to the team with all pertinent information regarding stay and appointments
- Communicate with team members and relay pertinent information regarding patients and/or appointments
- Collect and process payments on services rendered, finalized invoices, and educate client on available finance options
- Maintain a clean and presentable front desk and exam rooms, including cleaning patient accidents
- Communicate effectively and courteously with clients
- Email referral letters and discharge instructions to referring veterinarians, rehab clinics, and clients
- Close transactions and reconcile end of day reports
- Communicate inventory needs following internal process
- Operate office equipment such as printer, scanner, and label maker
- Assist in closing duties and cleaning tasks

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 1 year customer service experience
- Veterinary experience preferred
- Able to lift, carry, push and pull 40 lbs
