Overview: The Customer Engagement Specialist (CES) will play a key role in our marketing team, responsible for generating and qualifying leads to drive business growth. The primary focus of the CES will be on outbound prospecting, engaging potential customers, and setting up appointments for the sales team while promoting our brand, technologies, and services. This role is crucial in the sales process, serving as the initial point of contact and contributing significantly to the overall success of the sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads through various channels such as phone calls, social media, and emails.
- Identify potential leads within target companies to build and maintain a marketing qualified leads (MQL) pipeline.
- Engage with leads to assess their needs, challenges, and interest in the company's products to pass on qualified opportunities to the sales team.
- Maintain and update customer contact data within the CRM platform, managing unqualified leads until they are prepared for sales assignment.
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with the sales team and management to discuss the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies to optimize results.
- Document and update all lead interactions in the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system, Salesforce.
- Utilize data to report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates, appointment set rates, and pipeline contribution.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field.
- 0-2 years' experience in B2B lead generation, telemarketing, or related sales experience.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as social media platforms and email marketing software.
- Extremely comfortable with talking on the phone and cold calling potential leads.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
