The Customer Operations Manager position is accountable and responsible for the execution and coordination of all aspects of the company’s Customer Service, Logistics, and Office activities. This position reports directly to the Vice President - Operations.

The Customer Operations Manager position is accountable and responsible for the execution and coordination of all aspects of the company’s Customer Service, Logistics, and Office activities. This position reports directly to the Vice President - Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the safe operations of the ACM Customer Operations department
- Oversee the training, development, and supervision of Customer Service, Logistics and Office Personnel
- Oversee the operations of the Customer Operations Department to ensure the achievement of the department’s goals & objectives
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coach team members
- Manage the activities of the Customer Service/Office Specialist & Logistics/Operations Specialist
- Manage customer operations costs to achieve annual budget targets
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies & Requirements
- Provides alarm codes for new employees and maintain alarm code log
- Provides office keys to staff and maintains key log
- Liaison between management and landlord regarding the maintenance of leased spaces
- Manage vendor relationships with LTL carriers and Remote Warehouse locations
- Manage contracts and price negotiations with LTL carriers and Remote Warehouse locations
- Oversee the production of the Daily Sales Order Report and Ship Log
- Oversee the production of the bulk delivery schedule
- Establish strong, trusting, and mutually respectful relationships with other ACM staff members
- Participate in weekly operations department meetings
- Other duties that may be assigned by the Vice President - Operations.
Skill Requirements:
- Experience in managing customer service and logistics for a mid-size company
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) required, including conflict management
- Demonstrated strong, problem-solving skills under pressure
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- Very proficient in using the following computer software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
- Customer-focused for a positive customer experience and resolution
- Excellent organizational skills
- Professionalism and the ability to interact well with others
- Exhibit motivation and initiative
- Provide consistently accurate service
- Ability to follow through and to help with tasks as a team player
- Excellent time management skills and be able to multitask

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associates Degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a minimum 5 years of experience in a Customer Service and/or Logistics environment
