Customer Service Associate
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, self-starter to join our team as a Customer Service AssociateĀ in the dynamic and fast-paced auction industry. The company buys, sells, and appraises commercial and industrial machinery and equipment, as well as whole business operations. The Customer Service Analyst will work closely with the Sales and Operations department to assist in all Operational tasks. Making sure all projects are well organized and completed in a timely manner as determined by the Auction Operations manager.
Location: Westlake Village, CA
Salary: $22.00-24.00/hr (DOE)
This is a full time, temp-to-hire position
Job responsibilities:
- Exceptional customer-service skills when serving outside customers and internal departments - both over the phone and in person
- Answer multi-line phones, screen, and direct calls
- Provide support and execute auction day duties as assigned
- General administrative and clerical support
- Contribute to the overall success of the department
- Projects as assigned by the Operations Manager
Qualifications:
- Competency using basic computer programs (Word, Excel) and the ability to be trained on other software programs
- Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Advanced organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be a fast learner and able to quickly learn new tasks through hands on exploration and shadowing others
- Good attendance and ability to work long hours as needed
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $24.00
