Client Summary and Role:
Our client is an independent manufacturer’s representative operating within the waterworks, fire protection, irrigation, and plumbing industries
They represent premium brands and are very selective when considering additions to their portfolio
The role will begin in the warehouse, learning the industry and products
Eventually, after understanding the company, you’ll be given the opportunity to grow into a customer facing role
Your responsibilities will grow into answering phone calls, managing company e-mail, and processing orders for customers
Data entry in multiple systems
Maintain a professional, courteous and respectful environment when communicating with peers and customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To process orders received accurately and efficiently, within prescribed department guidelines
Answer inbound phone calls and assist customers with ordering
Processes orders, verifies stock, checks status of backorders, and notifies customers of delivery dates
Process RGAs and Credit Memos as required
Coordinate with departments (i.e., Outside Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, Warehouse, and Accounting)
Manage Customer Care e-mail inbox-determine level of urgency of inquiry, assign to customer care associates or handle as required
Communicate with Manufacturers regarding direct shipments, pricing, and product information/updates
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization
Participate in product training sessions as required
Qualifications: Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent phone, written and verbal skills, ability to write correspondence, and multitask in fast-pace environment
Excellent mathematical skills including, addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals, and calculating percentages
Ability to resolve issues/concerns with customers, and to respond quickly and professionally to prospects and customer requests
Effective problem-solving, organizational, and high attention to details
Proven self-starter with motivated attitude
Moderate to advance skills in: Word, Excel and Outlook
Typing 45 wpm.Willingness to operate a Forklift as needed
Education and Preferred Experience: High School Diploma required Previous Plumbing Market knowledge preferred
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for four hours at a time
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
The noise level in the inside sales area is usually moderate
