System One is currently seeking a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative for an industry-leading client in the Ford City, PA area.
Required Qualifications: Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support and Product Guidance
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate products for their specific applications
- Technical Product Knowledge
- Develop a foundational understanding of products, including their use in various industrial and manufacturing settings, to provide effective customer service and technical support
- Relationship Building
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing consistent, detail-oriented, and intentional service that fosters loyalty to products and services
- Order Management and Processing
- Facilitate the smooth processing of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of products while addressing any issues or concerns promptly
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including sales, engineering, and customer service teams, to ensure seamless customer experiences and issue resolution
- Customer Communication
- Effectively communicate with customers, both technical and non-technical, to explain product features, benefits, and provide after-sales support in a clear and understandable manner
- A growth mindset and a positive attitude that supports customers and team
- 3-years of experience in a similar role; preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector
- Excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and Windows operating system
- Strong attention to detail when providing product information, pricing, lead times, and managing customer orders to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Willingness to learn, be teachable, and teach others
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow consistent procedures
- A strong focus on customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships through reliable, high-quality service
Preferred Qualifications:
- CRM and Sales Software Proficiency
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales-related platforms for managing customer interactions, leads, and orders
- Vendor and Supply Chain Coordination
- Previous experience working with vendors and managing supply chain logistics, including sourcing services and coordinating deliveries
- Basic understanding of metal materials and methods of manufacturing
- May include Machining, Stamping, Heat Treatment, Forging, Casting, Refining, etc.
