Summary: Our client is looking for a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative To assist customers and sales reps with purchases and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):
- Greets incoming customers to showroom in a professional courteous and timely manner.
- Assists showroom customers with purchasing items by answering inquiries, providing product and price information, processing invoices and payments for purchases.
- Answers incoming telephone calls in a professional, courteous and timely manner, answering inquiries, processing orders, and transferring calls as needed.
- Assists outside sales representatives with orders and inquiries.
- Informs outside sales representatives and customers of all back-order information as required.
- Promotes and effectively sells company products and supplies using established company sales techniques. applying suggestive selling techniques when assisting customers.
- Keeps up-to-date with industry and product knowledge, applies knowledge of store products and services on a daily basis.
- Operates standard office equipment including:
- multi-line telephone system
- computer
- multi-function (copy/printer/fax/scan) machine
- Replenishes supplies in store as needed.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area at all times.
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Prior customer service experience helpful.Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before customers, employees or management. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to make change.Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook and Word.Work Environment:
