About the Job
Our manufacturing client located in the Rockford, MI area is looking for a motivated and organized Customer Service Manager to ensure outstanding client satisfaction while overseeing their Sales Support team. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this on-site, full-time position is crucial for shaping customer relationships and driving successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate Sales Support staff activities, including scheduling, prioritizing, and launching new initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Supervise Sales Support team members, providing performance coaching, conducting evaluations, managing training and development, and handling staffing needs.
- Collaborate with clients and Sales Reps to identify, define, and manage project requirements, ensuring goals are aligned for mutual success.
- Guide clients through initial product concepts, leveraging knowledge of the company's capabilities to steer projects in promising directions.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices to maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
- Promote a team-oriented, communicative approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1+ year of supervisory experience in a customer service role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
