Healthcare Customer Service Representative

In this Customer Service Representative role, you will support a growing team! This DIRECT HIRE role responds professionally to inbound service requests from patients as well as physicians. Must be able to provide accurate information and timely follow-through to requests requiring extensive research and response.
The successful Healthcare Customer Service Representative candidate is able to work in a fast-paced, structured environment, with established standards, guidelines and procedures. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain composure and patience while speaking with patients and physicians.
Hours: This role requires the ability to work 40 hours, with potential for overtime as needed. Flexibility to work varied schedules during initial training is required.
Regular work schedule will be Monday - Friday, PLUS full benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of employment, 401K, PTO, annual bonus and MORE!
These are the shifts currently available, but they are subject to change:
- 8:45am-5:15pm
- 9:00am -5:45pm
- 9:15am – 6:00pm
- 9:30am -6:15pm
- 10:30am – 7:15pm
- 11:15am -8pm

Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, articulate and concise.
- Speak clearly using appropriate grammar and word choice.
- Display professional telephone etiquette.
- Bilingual candidates a plus, but not required.
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word: working knowledge (not mastery)
- Prior experience with various call center solutions a plus.
- Able to learn new software easily.
Education/Experience/Knowledge:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and at least one year of prior customer services experience. Equivalent combination of education and prior experience where two years’ experience equals one year of schooling may be used for education requirement.
