The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assist with customer inquiries, provide product support, set up new accounts, and assist with sales and order processing. This position will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that support the overall efficiency of the team.
Key Responsibilities for the Customer Service Rep:
- Deliver outstanding customer service through both the customer portal and inbound email communications.
- Process customer orders and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the smooth processing and on-time delivery of customer orders.
- Manage the setup of new customer accounts and assist in updating existing accounts as needed.
- Support the sales team with product support, order tracking, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, customer interactions, and sales documentation.
Desired Qualifications for the Customer Service Rep:
- Proven experience in processing customer orders, generating invoices, and creating purchase orders.
- Ability to handle order confirmations, track shipments, and communicate status updates to customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow workflows, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proper email and telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in sales quotes and documentation.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to tackle new challenges and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team where reliability and dependability are key.
Compensation for the Customer Service Rep:
- $17 - $19 per hour, (DOE)
- Contract to Hire, Non-Remote
