Customer Service Representative (Hybrid)

TEKsystems is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Cary, NC! This is an exciting opportunity to support our pharmacy operations by providing high-level customer service and handling inbound and outbound calls. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and is dedicated to providing compassionate service to our patients, clinicians, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound pharmacy-related calls, including scheduling medication deliveries and payments.
- Answer general prescription status inquiries, verify insurance information, and provide copies of invoices.
- Route calls to appropriate personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
- Run medical claims and update progress notes for quick assessment.
- Show empathy when communicating with patients and work closely with the clinical team (pharmacists and nurses) when needed.
- Identify and report adverse events (AEs) and product complaints (PCs) for patient safety.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
- 1+ year of call center experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to show empathy and maintain a professional telephone manner
- Medical office, pharmacy, or medical claims experience is a plus but not required
