About the Job
Growing machine shop is hiring a Customer Service Representative. This position will be supporting the business development efforts by providing both inside sales support and ongoing customer service throughout the fabrication process. Previous experience in customer service at a machine shop or manufacturing company is preferred.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Customer Quoting
·Raw Stock, Labor, 0SS Estimates
·Prepare Quote for approval
·Send quote to customer
Process Customer PO
·Check incoming PO's to MRP system
·Review approved customer PO to verify it is ready for processing
Customer Correspondence
·Inform Customers on job status, early/late, low/high quantities
Purchasing
·Create purchase orders as required
·Source raw materials from approved vendors based on price, availability, delivery date, etc.
·Request quotes for fabrication/post-fabrication support services such as heat treating, shipping, etc.
Process Customer PO
·Check incoming PO's to MRP system
·Review approved customer PO to verify it is ready for processing
·Review material and raw stock inventory required for the sales order and job
·Create sales orders and jobs in JobBOSS MRP system
·Create virtual sales order and job folders as required
·Schedule jobs
·Finalize ales orders and jobs
Customer Support
·Work with accounting to mediate PO discrepancies
·Any work activity required to help the customer maintain their quality and schedule
Additional Information
·Office environment with machine shop attached
·Shared office space with other CSRs
·Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
·Salaried position with potential of quarterly bonuses based on company performance
