Customer Service Representative 2 - Lewis-Clark State College

LC State invites applications for the position of Customer Service Representative 2.

Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $16.70 - $17.40 per hour

Required Qualifications:

• Some knowledge of interviewing methods
• Experience interpreting, explaining, and applying regulations, laws, or complex policies to carry out assignments
• Experience accessing data using a computerized system
• Experience independently handling complaints and upset individuals in a business setting
• Experience conducting sensitive fact-finding interviews

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
• Intermediate word processing skills (40 WPM).
• Intermediate database skills to include creating, formatting, editing, sorting, filtering, printing, and storing data in pre-designed tables, customizing tables, importing and exporting data to tables, creating forms and simple reports, setting relationships between tables, converting, transferring or importing data, design and create complex queries and reports.

Responsibilities:

Provides customer-focused customer service, conducts in-depth, in-person or on-the-phone verbal interviews to offer specialized and technical program knowledge to customers, including instructors, students, internal customers, business and industry partners, and customized clients; registers students and provides clerical and technical support and back up for all Workforce Training.

Additional duties include direct and indirect activities to support recruitment and retention of students.
