About the Job
Description:
- Responsible for taking inbound calls from people throughout New Mexico needing assistance with the special enrollment period (i.e. dropped out of Medicaid, dropped out from employer, need temporary insurance)
- Could also be taking questions regarding Medicaid application and password resent
- When they enroll online they have to show proof of citizenship, SSN, valid ID, etc. and individuals will need to send in pictures and they will confirm if this is valid and matches the application
- Will also transfer quite a few calls from individuals to the correct payer when they call in regarding their insurance, bill, ID card, etc.
- Some individuals they will be talking to will need assistance through the portal, tax questions, could be frustrated with the process and have a lot of questions
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-2+ years of customer service experience (i.e. retail, call center, barista, server, etc.)
-Someone is focused on service and customer service with their customers
-Someone who is able to multi-task and doesn't get overwhelmed while talking and researching information
-Someone who is not afraid of change and is adaptable/coachable
NICE TO HAVE:
-Bilingual in Spanish and English
-Previous healthcare call center is preferred
-Previous experience with Medicaid is preferred
-Prefer call center experience (specifically inbound experience)
-Previous experience in Salesforce (only application that they use)
