Customer Service Representative - Primary Location

Carrie Joos Farmers Insurance Agency is hiring a Customer Service Representative.

Our insurance agency is in Bloomington Illinois, and we are up to big things! We provide Auto, Home, Business and Life insurance to help protect our clients and their assets. Come be a part of our winning and competitive culture!

Qualifications for the Customer Service Representative:

• Must possess the ability multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Have a Property & Casualty Insurance license. (or obtain one first 90 days)
• Be trustworthy, dependable, and ethical.
• Must be coachable.
• Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Be motivated and determined.
• Willing to travel to commercial sites.
• Ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per year

Responsibilities

As a Service Representative you will:

• Work closely with our Producers to provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to our clients
• As a CSR your responsibilities will include preparing and process quotes, proposals, applications, bonds, endorsements and certificates of insurance
• You will assess risk and coverage, review, and update policies
• Handle customer phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and general correspondence
• Maintain client activity tracking, files, billing, process payments and monitor accounts receivable

• Over 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Dynamic, kind, and caring demeanor
• Excellent written and oral/presentation skills
• Desire to work towards measurable quotas and bonuses.
• Currently possess a property & casualty insurance license or be able to obtain (within 90 days)
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent Organizational Skills a MUST
