The Customer Service Coordinator manages the referral intake process, coordinates information flow, ensures insurance verification, and provides exceptional customer service through efficient handling of patient and family inquiries. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, data accuracy, and timely documentation to maintain optimal interdisciplinary communication and support hospice services.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of four years in a coordinator or customer service role; hospice or healthcare experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and medical software systems.
- Bilingual skills are preferred.
- Excellent telephone etiquette required.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic healthcare setting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and highly developed organizational skills.
Education:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. Equivalency
Salary: $32.7206/hourly
