Customer Service Representative (Call Center) - American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)

We are currently searching for a call center professional for our multichannel contact team responding to both general and specific inquiries.

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving, researching, and responding to 800-line queued calls, live chat, and emails
• Providing real-time customer service and call center support and advice to members regarding ASCE products and services
• Projecting a positive, professional image of self and ASCE to insure productive relations with the members
• Processing all member account updates
• Making outbound telemarketing calls as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years' experience in a high-volume call center
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and CRM software or database (Personify a plus)
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with navigating through multiple systems
• A positive and enthusiastic customer service bent
