About the Job
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a manufacturing client in Fremont. This positions is 100% onsite and can be a temp-to-hire role based on performance. Hours for the position are Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm with a starting pay rate of $27-$31 an hour. Prior customer service experience with a manufacturing company is required.
Job Duties:
- Accept all incoming calls directed from clients and outside individuals provide product ordering assistance to customers as required.
- Provide quotations in a timely manner.
- Enter Sales Orders and RMAs into the computer system as required.
- Maintain control of weekly backlog report.
- Data Entry of weekly orders.
- Data entry of weekly sales revenue.
- Data entry of product quotations.
- Submit log of orders/revenue and quotes weekly.
- Provide file maintenance to customer database.
- Convert incoming calls into sales cycles to the best abilities and provide necessary follow up to secure orders.
- Enter sufficient background information for complex calls and transfer or escalate calls.
- Assist admin personnel when requested to secure payments for past due product or services.
- Assist Receptionist as required, answer incoming calls during breaks or lunch time of the Receptionist.
Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
- Excellent customer facing skills.
- Desire to learn company products to provide accurate information to customers.
